Alan Pickert

Jacksonville Mesothelioma and Asbestos Attorney

I’m Alan Pickert. As a litigation attorney I started off my law practice handling individuals injured in all types of ways.  From auto, truck, and motorcycle accidents to dog bits, vaccine injuries, and construction and commercial business negligence. When I first became aware of the effects of asbestos exposure and the lives that were ruined by this deadly disease, I decided right then and there that I would learn everything I could about asbestos, both medically and legally and try and right the wrongs done by others. I found out very quickly that this was no ordinary case or disease, and that asbestos exposure is very complicated and handling these types of cases, very involved. To make matters worse, the manufactures and companies that used asbestos products, understood the risks and health issues associated with this product but kept this information from its employees and the general public. Now I was angry. As an individual I knew I was helpless in solving the problem of asbestos exposure, but as an attorney I had the law and the constitutional right to bring to justice all parties complicit in their actions of exposing workers and their family members to this deadly toxin.

For over 25 years I have been involved in protecting the legal rights of mesothelioma and cancer patients and their families exposed to asbestos. I have come to know all of my clients on a first name basis and they with me. I take great satisfaction in being able to represent these clients that have been wronged, in one of the greatest frauds ever committed against workers and their families in this country. Terence Rattigan said “Right should be done, not justice. Easy to do justice very hard to do right.”

Mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer patients have the right to expect fair compensation for their injuries and claims. Anita Clark and I are dedicated to protecting those rights and we will not be satisfied until every asbestos case in this county has been tried and settled for these victims and their families.
